Cleaning up the Catalans beach with the Sail GP France team and the Accor group

The French team taking part in the F50 Sail GP international hydrofoil catamaran sailing competition set themselves a challenge: to cover the 600km between Barcelona and St Tropez using only low-carbon transportion in express time !

As part of their challenge, they stopped off in Marseille on 6 September for a litter pick at the Catalans beach, organised with Pure Ocean.

A campaign to raise awareness of plastic pollution and its impact on the Mediterranean Sea, which brought together the Sail GP fr team with their leader Quentin Delapierre, double winner of the Tour de France à la voile, and their partner Accor. The result? 600 litres of rubbish collected in just 30 minutes !
