The big departure of the Bermuda Lorient – Défi Pure Ocean is in a few hours!

Currently live in Bermuda, where the crew of #JP54 “Notre Méditerranée – Ville de Nice”, is fine-tuning the final details of the crossing before setting off in a race against time for the benefit of the ocean!

During its Atlantic crossing under sail, between Bermuda and Lorient, the crew will cover nearly 3000 nautical miles, i.e. more than 5500 kilometres, in an attempt to beat the reference time that was set decades ago.

Throughout this adventure, David Sussmann, President and Founder of Pure Ocean, will share his feelings on the race and speak on topics such as science, innovation, the ocean and the dangers it faces. #StayConnected
