The BERMUDES LORIENT – DÉFI PURE OCEAN, proposed by PURE OCEAN, ABSOLUTE DREAMER and LORIENT GRAND LARGE is a sailing challenge across the Atlantic, open to all types of yachts, which has several objectives:
- to beat the reference times,
- to raise public awareness of the ocean and the need to protect it,
- to collect data useful for scientific studies for the protection of the ocean,
- raise funds for ocean research.
