PURE OCEAN PRESENTS THE 5 NEW SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS IT WILL SUPPORT FROM 2022!
We are very proud and happy to present the 5 new scientific projects that Pure Ocean will support this year!
From the protection of large oceanic animals in Mozambique to the 3D mapping of the Mediterranean seabed, from the preservation of mangroves through beekeeping in Guatemala to the development of a sustainable community project around fisheries and coral ecosystems in the Philippines, as well as the regeneration of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the projects are all more ambitious than the others!
Based on ecological, technological or social innovation, these projects have varied and specific fields of action but their objective remain the same: to contribute to a better understanding and preservation of the ocean!
These projects have been selected by an independent and international scientific committee. Composed of the eminent scientists Françoise Gaill, Gilles Boeuf, Anna Zivian, Kartik Shanker, Abdelmalek Faraj, the Committee used the following criteria to select the projects to be supported: co-construction, commitment, innovation and impact.
Pure Ocean would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank its sponsors without whom the financing of its projects would not be possible.
