“We don’t inherit the earth, we borrow it from our children”
Antoine de Saint Exupery
A “Waste and the Circular Economy Law” was adopted at the end of January by the French National Assembly and the Senate.
This text has strong ambitions that are in line with those of Pure Ocean, notably to act and transform in order to protect the environment.
“To end single-use plastic, to better inform consumers, to fight against waste and promote reuse, to act against programmed obsolescence, to better produce” are the main objectives of this law.
Will we achieve zero single-use plastic by 2040 or equip all new washing-machines with plastic microfiber filters by 2025?
This depends on all of us and our commitment to save our planet. We all have a role to play and every action counts.
This law is a good start to act in an eco-responsible way and we must persevere!
